Velet Paint

Velet Paint is a pure acrylic special water-based interior wall decoration paint designed for creating an imitation velvet effect indoors. It is a water-based, environmentally friendly, and easy-to-apply artistic water paint.

The coating effect is luxurious and comfortable, and it looks like pearl-like luster, feels velvety and smooth, as delicate and comfortable as velvet, and has soft colors and elegant temperament; the comfortable touch of velvet, the sharp contrast between the white feathers and the dark side of the pearl, and the distinct layers create an elegant, luxurious and comfortable art space; velvet is a silver-white paste with a delicate and soft feel like velvet and a metallic luster effect.

Construction Process

Precautions before Construction:
1. The base surface should be solid, flat, neutral and clean.
2. Ensure that the wall to be coated is fully dry, with a pH value of <10 and a moisture content of <8%.
3. Use special instruments to check the flatness of the base surface.

Construction steps:

1. Apply one coat of alkali-resistant sealing primer.

Before construction, add an appropriate amount of clean water according to construction habits, about 3-10%, and stir evenly before use. The primer enhances the adhesion and uniformity of the paint surface.
Note: Need to wait for the primer to dry before proceeding to the next process, which takes about 4-8 hours.

2. Apply one coat of same color medium coat with a roller.
Before construction, can add an appropriate amount of clean water according to construction habits, about 3-5%, and stir evenly before use. Construction dosage: 3 square meters/kg.
Note: Need to wait for the medium coat to dry completely before proceeding to the next process, which takes about 4-8 hours.

3. Apply two coat of main paint with a roller.(round sander)
Before construction, can add an appropriate amount of water according to construction habits, about 3-5%, and stir evenly before use. Construction dosage: 4 square meters/kg.
Note: Need to wait for the first coat of main paint to dry before proceeding to the  second coat, about 4-8 hours.
Use a round sander to rub it back and forth in a figure-8 shape to create texture.

4. Apply two coat of main paint with a roller.(oval sander)
Before construction, can add an appropriate amount of water according to construction habits, about 3-5%, and stir evenly before use. Construction dosage: 4 square meters/kg.
Note: Need to wait for the first coat of main paint to dry before proceeding to the  second coat, about 4-8 hours.
Use an oval sander to rub the texture vertically.
(The direction of rubbing is different, the final effect is also different)
